2004 Michael-David Cabernet Sauvignon Rapture
(USA, California, Central Valley, Lodi)
Veggies on the nose with sour cherries, burnt log and cocoa. Great deep purple color. The palate is huge in complexity with chocolate, plum, cherries, and a good dose of cedar. The start is a touch short right at the opening, the mid palate is a little uneventful and then the finish goes to a strong cigar taste. The finish is long. Tannins are well balanced. I like this wine because it has character, complexity and has an old world feel to it. Definite try for about 55 bucks. Borderline 90 points.

I thought the 2004 Rapture was excellent and drank like a Caymus. It was exciting while enjoying wonderfullu prepared Spanish dishes paired with Chocolate desert. I’d have rated it 92 points
who distributes this wine in Texas?
