Ramey Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2007, 90 points

2007 Ramey Chardonnay Russian River Valley

(USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley)

I enjoyed this wine very much and the experience was different.  The color was a nice golden yellow.  The nose had green apple, pear and some pineapple and mellon.  The start of the palate had green apple and had a nice tart feel to it.  Crisp with a touch of lime and oak.  The mid palate was more tangy.  The finish was the best part of this wine.  It had great hang-time and a nice mouth coating milky feel.  Almost like a vanilla soda and cream.  I really liked the finish and it was different and soft.
