Rudd Sauvignon Blanc 2007. 88 points

2007 Rudd Sauvignon Blanc

(USA, California, Napa Valley)

Nice color toward the golden range. Lots of pear and oak on the nose with some pineapple. Tropical, fresh and crisp.  The tannins are just right and give this oaky honey flavor just enough bite and spices.  Little pineapple and oak on the palate.  The finish is long and just a hint of cigar on the end to give it a little character.   Really nice Sauvignon Blanc, however this early it is borderline at 50 bucks.  Worth a try though.
